๐Ÿ“Œ GROTTO VISTA CHURCH VISIT - a blog as a Senior High Student

    - The Grotto church is a prominent Holy Week destination for pilgrims and Catholic devotees, attracting big numbers of people during the Lenten season. I went there together with Alexa. She is one of the Researchers too. We went there and visit the place. The cathedral is an exact duplicate of the French Church of Lourdes. It was constructed as a token of appreciation and faith for a common Filipino who, by his trust in Our Lady of Lourdes, overcame cancer. Upon his return to the Philippines, he gave sick, hopeless, and misinformed people what God had given him—new life and hope.

Behind the grotto church The Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in France is known for the apparent healing properties of the spring water. The place appeared in the 18 apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to a poor 14-year-old girl, Bernadette Soubiroux, starting from February 11 to July 16, 1858.

As we go there. Pag enter pa lang namin is nakita agad namin kung gaano kaaliwalas yung place and some of their signage about parking matter. We walk in and saw lots of statues. The front door of the church is closed so we just used side door. Before we enter we saw a store that is located at the side of the enter road. Store that symbolizes some of their delicacies. There they are selling rosary, statues, candles and such. The souvenir stores and food stalls at the left corner of the church. And They believe that the water from the “miracle spring” can heal some diseases and wash away sins if you offer prayers to Our Lady of Lourdes.

Pumasok na kami and saw a designated store for candles. Katabi nito ang tulusan ng candles. Pumasok na kami inside of the church and leave after, after finishing the mass. We go straight to their healing water area. Sa loob nito is makkita natin yung picnic area. They made a lot of tables and chairs. Maraming tao ang nag p-picnic inside of it. May statues din na allow hawakan and also may praying area din. May “Estasion” doon na pwedeng i visit but you have to climb up to see those. It includes statues that is all about Jesus. It was interesting but nakakapagod and nakakahingal so We advice to bring umbrella, water and pamunas up there. You don’t have to buy food pala if you going to Grotto church because sa labas ng mismong church is may mga nag titinda at kainan. It depends or its up to you naman if mag dadala ka para makatipid.

Some of pros of going there is the place itself. You can communicate well to God because of going there. You gonna have time with him while enjoying the relaxing place but it’s Cons, yung papunta. Most of the time traffic especially pag araw ng linggo.

If you guys are planning to visit this place, you better bring your own umbrella, water, face towel and tissue can be the alternative and foods is optional since there are a lot of stores inside and outside of the Grotto church.

The Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes is located in Gate - 1, Provencial Road, Grotto Grace Vill, San Jose Delmonte Bulacan, 3023 Bulacan.

The Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes is a place that is rich in greens and it is expected to be a rough road and it is. Grotto church is well informative that they put safety precautions or warnings around the place. Some reminders you should follow. Like about the holy water. It involves reminders that you can easily follow. As I mentioned that it’s a rough road when you visit every stations you should slow down when walking or simply walk slowly so that you can avoid danger or simply slipping.

If you are planning to go and check the place I recommend to make sure you have a lot of time. It is time consuming walking around every stations up there but it was all worth it. Bring your water jug because you will definitely be in thirst.
